Actually Day 3

Hello All,

I woke up this morning to my internal clock (means I am motivated) and dragged my husband who is not a morning person to the gym. We both started out of the exercise bike (the only thing I am able to do cardio wise at the moment) but he quickly ditched me within about 5 mins lol. I got in a great 35 mins of pure cardio bliss! Anyway after I got off of the bike in hopes I would be able to join him kicking ass on the weights he informs me that he is done. NERVE. He walks home and I am alone. But guess what this women did??? She kicked a little ass herself!

Here's a snap shot of what I did

  • 35 min exercise bike
  • (one leg) leg press, alternating should press
  • Seated row, limited squats (have to baby my foot)
  • Seated hamstring curl, straight arm shoulder rises
  • Lat pull down
  • Leg extensions
  • Adductor machine, lawn mowers
  • Squats with limited calf raises, Alternating lat pull down
  • Seated two arm should press
That's it folks! It felt AMAZING! I really do love to workout. I guess that is a blessing right? :)

Anywho for breakfast this morning I ate one slice of turkey bacon, one egg white and one whole egg, with a few slices of avocado. Lunch was broiled tilapia and steamed veggies...Yum! The hubby even liked it.

Doing great so far true test is how I do at work tomorrow (planning on kicking major ass and putting a workout bag in my car so I can knock out a small amount of cardio BEFORE coming home). Wish me luck!

Here's what I am reading: Cook Yourself Healthy:Easy Delicious Recipes for the Hottest, Most Confident You. By Candice Kumai.

So far it's a pretty good read.

Day 1 Again Again

Hey everyone. I know it has been a minute and we are entering a whole new year and such but I guess it doesn't matter how many times you have a day one as long as you keep having them. I ended up being diagnosed with an arrhythmia then I fell down a flight of concrete stairs and hurt my left foot really bad.. Then I ended up in a boot for months! The end result  of all that is I am at 150 pounds. The heaviest I have ever been in my life! Here are the biggest problems.

1. I am 5'3. 150 pounds does not look good on a short person.
2. I am not as young as I use to be and my skin isn't liking the extra weight either.
3. When you have issues with your heart the last thing you want to do is carry around an extra 30 pounds.

So here is the new plan.

1. Stop eating everything but the carpet. I love food but I don't love being over weight. If I have to choose the food has to go.

2. Now that my physical therapist has given me permission to workout (only exercise bike) it's time to knock it out.

3. Mind over matter. My cravings can't get the best of me....period.

So now that I am back in the gym ( Day two actually) it's time to get it done. 150 pound starting point. Time to bring that number wwwwaaayyyy down!

Stay tuned
